We designed Stow to help you organize your home inventory while respecting your privacy. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and what control you have over your data.

What data we collect
We collect the information you provide when using Stow, including:
- Account data like email address, first name, and last name
- Inventory data you create, such as homes, spaces, bins, items, and tags
- Photos you upload to document your belongings
How we use your data
We use your data to run Stow and improve the product. That includes powering your inventory, keeping your account secure, and making the app easier to use over time.
We do not sell your personal data.
Where your data is stored
Stow uses trusted service providers to store and process data:
- Firebase Authentication for sign-in and account security
- Postgres for structured inventory and account records
- Vercel Blob for uploaded images
Your rights and choices
You can request account deletion, and you can export your inventory data (data export is a Premium feature when launched). If you delete your account, we delete your data from our systems according to our retention and legal obligations.
We work to comply with GDPR and CCPA requirements.
Cookies and tracking
We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and protect your account. We may use limited analytics to improve product quality, reliability, and performance.
